DOCUMENTATION: The following documents are required for a legal worldwide civil wedding in Greece.
- Bride's and Groom's passports.
- Marriage License and Registration of marriage with the authenticated translation in Greece Note: In case the Marriage License is not easy to obtain, you can obtain a "Single Status" letter for each one accompanied with an authenticated translation in Greek. "Single Status" is a document issued from your country's consulate and insures that there is no problem to get married.
- Birth Certificates for both and the authenticated translation of them in Greek.
- Divorce Certificate in case that there is any. For this no translation is needed. You have to send us copies of all the above documents to the fax number: + 30 22860 23486 the latest twenty days before the Wedding date.
In return we will send you a Wedding date confirmation issued by the Municipality verifying that all documents are OK. Do not forget to bring along all the original documents. The day following the Wedding Ceremony, you will get an officially signed Marriage Certificate.
ARRANGEMENTS: A number of hotels in Santorini can make all the necessary arrangements that coincide with the couple’s wishes and budget for the wedding of their dreams. Wedding packages are available along with option of creating a personalized package.
