For all categories, minimum age 21 years.
For all categories the tenant must present a credit card accepted by Suntime Car Rental
to cover the amounts relating to the guarantee, the deposit and reimbursement of the
cost of renting.
A valid driver license held for at least one year is required from the driver. For non European Citizens an international driver license or a certified translation is required.
All fines driving rental period are borne solely by the renter.
A minimum lease period is defined as one day (24 hours). After the expiry of the agreed lease, Suntime allows the tenant the delay of 1 hour for the return of the car without any charge. After that, the renter will be charged the cost of an extra day.
All authorized drivers of Suntime vehicles are covered by a liability insurance to the Third Party, death, injury and property damage. This coverage is subject to General Terms of the Suntime’s contract with its insurer.
The authorized renter's liability for any damage to the rented vehicle can be reduced
under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated to a minimum charge of €
750 for categories A, B, FA, FB,CC, € 900 for categories D, E, F, FCC,SV, € 1.100 for
categories J,K,L, by paying the amount of 12 €, 15 €, 20 €.
The driver can limit liability even more (SCDW) with the minimum charge of € 100 for
categories A, B, FA,FB, CC € 150 for categories D,E,F,FCC,SV , € 200 for categories
J,K,L, by paying an extra € 10, € 12, € 18 respectively per rental day.
If the tenant is a "new driver" he/she only has an option to purchase the collision damage
waiver (CDW).
Damage to the underside of the car, the tires, the wheels, any glass parts and the
interior of the car is not covered by any insurance
Theft protection is a service which, if accepted, reduces the renters financial responsibility in case of theft of the Suntime vehicle to of € 750 for categories A, B, FA, FB,CC, € 900 for categories D, E, F, FCC,SV, € 1.100 for categories J,K,L, by paying the amount of 5 €, 8 €, 12€. This does not include thefts of personal effects left in the car.
It is charged with € 5 per day and covers: Compensation in case of death, total / partial disability up to € 70,000 for the driver and up to € 17,600 per passenger and € 1,500 for medical expenses. Maximum compensation for any accident: € 88,000. The driver is charged with € 15 in case of accident he/she has caused. This amount is not refundable.

€ 3.5 Daily fee for each additional driver.
Child Seats
Available by reservation only and costs € 4 per day.
GPS
Available on request with charge € 10 per day.
The company reserves the right depending on the availability to provide a similar type of
car than that of the original booking or a car of a higher category.
For each drop off / pick up outside Suntime stations within the city there is an extra
charge of € 15 for all categories. An extra charge of 5€ will be added for the above
service from 22:00 until 6:00.
Allowed only with the prior written agreement with Suntime. Please note that any damage
to the vehicle in transit will be not covered by any insurance.
All fines and penalties resulting from the fault of the driver are fully borne by the lessee.
